I really wanted the background to be in the photo as much as possible. Unfortunately, I could not get rid of my red eye.
For this photo I wanted to crop it horizontally, so that the main focus is in the lower right hand corner.
For this photo, I wanted it to be a little too much of a close up, so that it is a little bit blurry.
I did this mainly for my eye to pop out more. I also decided to crop out half of my face so that the photo obeyed the Rule of Thirds.
